Snyder presents a selection of photographs of ‘friends, visitors, and people I met across the country - gurus, maharishis, and holy men; scientists, spiritualists, dealers, and Jesus-freak junkies: psychedelic cowboys and rabbinical visionaries, cosmological entrepreneurs and stockbrokers; video mechanics and electronic artists jacked into the amphitheatre of human evolution; a panorama of pretenders to the throne of enlightenment. My camera became a crystalline needle stitching myriad facets of space between people I have known.’

Includes images of Yayoi Kusama and her entourage, the Hell’s Angels (attending the funeral of Chocolate George), the Living Theatre, Timothy Leary at Millbrook, the Electric Circus and Woodstock.
