This is the first publication of dutch photographer Esther Kroon’s work - published in the year following her death in Guatemala at the age of 25.
Influenced by the photographer Rineke Dijkstra, for whom she worked as an assistant, Kroon’s photographs are primarily portraits of children taken from a low viewpoint and making use of both natural and artificial light.
