This incredible album is a testimony to the magnificent minerals collected in what was known as the Katanga Province in Congo.
Photographer Jacques Baeke has captured 30 stunning colour images of minerals found by the Générale Congolaise des Mines.
The book comes with unique colour tracing paper inserts, designed by Jacques Richez, and the text is written in French.
This book is scarce and little information is available. We suspect this book was printed in the 1970s.
