A photographic record of the women encountered by Deborah Turbeville on a tour of Guatemala. During her trip, Turbeville bought a statue of the Virgin Mary and Child from an antique shop in Panachal, it became her travel companion and the photographs were taken through the eyes of Maria Candelaria.
